Android Devices Activation Reaches 250 Million

CALIFORNIA – The glow of Android devices will likely continue this year. Announcing the 2011 fourth quarter earnings, CEO of Google, Larry Page, explaining that there are now 250 million Android devices that have been activated.

That number was 50 million from last November. Page also re-confirmed the news on more than 700 thousand Android devices are activated every day. Thanks to that device as well, users have downloaded more than 11 billion apps from the Android Market.

This achievement, according to Page, will also help Google’s efforts to make Android more commercial. Although he acknowledges, many of which are downloadable applications.

“I think we are in early commercialization stages for a number of new products, and Android is one of them. We make money from search advertising and a very strong business in mobile phones, “said Page, as reported by PCMag, Saturday (01/21/2012).

“We’ve got a lot of potential to make money in Android, and you will see us increase it from time to time. Although it is difficult to give precise details of how it could happen, “added Page.
